Why is my cat not eating and sore after her annual vaccines?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 9 lbs

routine annual vaccines yesterday, fine when we got home, won't eat breakfast this morning in addition to isolating and pain at the injection site.

Poor Evie! Some cats can be slightly lethargic with a slight decline in appetite for a day after vaccines. You can try applying warm compresses to the injection site to try to ease her discomfort. If her appetite is still off by tomorrow, or if she develops vomiting or diarrhea, I recommend taking her back to the vet for evaluation in case she is experiencing a mild vaccine reaction. I hope that Evie is feeling better soon!
