Hi Doc, what could be the possible medicine for a 3month old puppy who suddenly did not eat for almost 3 days and is pooping wet poop with blood. We try to let him take a dextrose powder and still worried because he hasn't eaten for 3days already

Oh dear! If Liit has been not eating for three days and his having bloody diarrhea, these are very serious problems. I would be very worried that he may have parvo, which is a very serious, life-threatening illness that is common in puppies. He could also have an intestinal obstruction, or may have gotten into something toxic. I'm afraid that this illness is far too serious to be treated with any kind of home remedies - he really needs to be seen by a vet immediately, or I would be concerned that he may not survive. The vet can test him for parvo or do other diagnostics if needed to help determine the problem, and will probably hospitalize Liit for IV fluids and medication to treat his illness.

I am so sorry your puppy Sniper is so ill. I will be honest here and tell you that this sounds like your poor puppy may have contracted parvovirus. Parvovirus is a highly contagious virus that is spread through an infected pets feces and can be found anywhere in the soil. If he is not fully vaccinated, then parvovirus is likely the cause. He needs to go see your vet right away to get tested and then treated. Antibiotics, fluids, vitamin injections, and pain medication are typically the recommended treatments for parvovirus. Hospitalization will likely be recommended as well, since this gives him the best chance of survival, but he can be given medications to try to give at home if that is not possible. I do hope that your poor fur baby Sniper will be able to make a full and speedy recovery! Best wishes and take care.

Bloody diarrhea could be caused by toxin ingestion, parasites, change in diet,, infectious viral diseases such as parvovirus, blockage in the gastrointestinal tract caused by ingestion of a foreign body, or a mass/growth in the gastrointestinal tract. Please have Fancy seen by a veterinarian right away, as bloody diarrhea can lead to dehydration and anemia, and can be very dangerous (and even deadly) if not treated promptly. I recommend you take Fancy in to the vet, and take in a fecal sample from Fancy when you go. Your vet will likely want to test the sample to help guide treatment.
