My guinea pig is sneezing and squeaking softly. Should I see a vet?

I have a male guinea pig estimated to be around 2 months old which I got a week ago. He's started to sneeze and give abnormally soft squeaks as though he can't squeak normally. He also has black tips that just appeared a day or two ago on two of his back nails, but I can't tell if it's something he stepped in or a color change. He still likes to run around, his eyes are clear, and there's no discharge from his nose. I cleaned his cage after 6 days.

I am sorry to hear about Popcorn. Sneezing can be a sign of respiratory infection in guinea pigs. Because of this, I would highly recommend an examination by a veterinarian if he is still sneezing, as we want to treat him as early as possible because guinea pigs can deteriorate quickly once very ill and become difficult to help. He may need an antibiotic to help clear this infection. Also cleaning his cage regularly to help reduce ammonia buildup from the urine and using a bedding that doesn't have dust or strong odor, such as the paper bedding Carefresh.
