My dog has diarrhea all night with a little blood. Is it serious?

Dog has had diarrhea all night, following through to today. She has a little bit of blood when doing so, but not a ton. See photo. Is this serious, or normal? Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | unspayed | 4.5 lbs

Diarrohea is never normal, the question is more if it is serious. To be honest a lot of dogs with diarrohea will have a little fesh blood from straining. Usuly diarrohea is due to gastroenteritis which is an inflamed gut and tummy because of eating something that didn't agree or infection etc. I recommend starving her for 24 hours then feed her plain chicken and rice. If she seems sick orit it doesn't start to clear take her to the vet. It would be wise to worm her as well.
