My dog's eye is stuck shut with discharge. Should I see a vet?

Hi, My dog Snuffles seems to have sleep around his eye, we have already cleaned it with saline solution, and he is not able to open his eye due to it. If the problem persists should I bring him to our local vets?

Yes, a very little bit of gunky eye discharge can be normal, but if there's enough of it that Snuffles can't open his eye, that is definitely not normal and should be evaluated by a vet as soon as possible. Hope this helps.
