My dog has trouble pooping, vet found a mass. Could it be cancer?

Pet's info: Dog | Russell Terrier | Female | unspayed | 8 years old | 12.32 lbs

my dog cant poo properly when she does only small amounts and very soft when we took her to vet yesterday un blocked her anal glands and said she could feel something but could only get half of her finger in have to take her in morning to have xray not poo today air coming out but nother els she eating drinking and not been sick should we be worried it could be cancer

If the vet could feel something there is a chance it might be a mass, but it would need to be tested to determine if it is cancerous. At the same time it could be an issue with the anal gland such as an abscess. I would wait and see the results if the xray and try and not panic about it in the mean time. It is always best to get to the bottom of these things. Best of luck.
