Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 8 months old | 110 lbs
Hi all, my big boy Tytan has been having trouble with his ears. My mom and I have been cleaning them thoroughly and gently and nothing but dirt and dried up blood (from him continuously scratching) comes out. We've been using ear mite medicine for dogs for a while now. The issue seems to go away but comes back. I'm currently on vacation from work and don't have the finances to take him to the vet (plus he HATES it). Any suggestions on what else I could possibly do/use to help my boy out?

It's probably a severe ear infection. Ear infections are very common in dogs, it is usually caused by either yeast or bacterial disease. the treatment is usually simple and straightforward, you will have to take Tytan to the vet ASAP and get the ears checked, then a prescription ear drops will be prescribed according to the infectious agent.
