Dog bit me, owner claims vaccinated, vet has no record. What to do?

I was bit on the outer part of my thigh by a German shepherd today. Owner says the dog has had his shots, told me the vets name, however the vet says the do not have any record of his shots...what do you think I should do?

Wow! Sorry to hear this happened to you. You should call animal control in your area ASAP! Give them the dog owner's information. They will track them down and try to sort out this mess. That is their job. Rabies is a huge deal and if you need to get prophylactic injections you need to get started right away! Don't wait on this! Rabies is a fatal disease! I hope this helps.
