My dog has a painful ear infection and allergies. What can I do?

Hi, i have a Labrador whose age is 2yrs and he is suffering from allergy since he was 6 months old. He usually bites or lick himself and has allergy all over his body. He has lumps in his paws also. From 2 days he is having an infection near his left ear, earlier it was small but withing 2 days it has grown and release lot of red pus.

It looks like he has a hot spot. The best thing would be to have him examined by a vet for treatment. He probably needs an antibiotic, anti-histamine, and/or a corticosteroid to help get his allergies under control. You can also bathe him with a medicated dog shampoo and see if that helps. There is a new allergy medication called Apoquel that you could ask your vet about and see if that helps, too.
