Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female | spayed | 13 years and 5 months old | 6 lbs
I have a 13 year old Persian. She has been throwing up daily so we took her in. All blood tests normal and scan shows do apparent problems. Kidney a little sm. Now she is throwing up dark brown liquid and developed diarrhea. She has an appetite and does not seem in pain. Taking her out of the house freaks out and foams at the mouth she gets so stressed. We have been feeding her soft food with lactaid because she only has two teeth. Any thoughts? The vet said it could be intestinal lymphoma?

Intestinal lymphoma is a possibility in any older cat with GI problems. However they are also prone to an inflammatory bowl disease that has similar symptoms. A biopsy if the intestines can distinguish between the two disease as they have very different treatments and prognosis. A diet change can help along with a B12 vitamin supplement either way. With brown vomit it is best that she get rechecked as that can be a sign of old blood and you want to be sure she doesn't have a stomach ulcer.
