What's a small white bump near my dog's eye if it's not bothering him?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | American Staffordshire Terrier | Male | neutered | 2 years and 4 months old | 69 lbs

I noticed my 2yr old stafforshire terrier has this small white bump near the corner of his eye. It's not bothering him and there is no discharge.

It looks like a little pustule or cyst. Since it is not bothering him, you could monitor it for a few days and see if it changes. You could also apply a warm washcloth compress to the area and see if that helps. Otherwise, have a vet take a look at it to see if he needs an antibiotic and/or anti-inflammatory to treat.
