My cat has kittens 1 week old tomorrow. The queen has developed a red eye and has gone off her food, she tried to eat some roast chicken but made horrible noises while chewing and refused to eat any more.

She might have a respiratory infection or an infection in her eyes or teeth she should be checked by a vet to see if it is something the kittens can catch and to make sure she is healthy enough to nurse the kittens still. Without her eating. She can become dehydrated and dry up her milk supply
