My dog has a large squishy lump that bursts and bleeds. Is it a cyst?

Pet's info: Dog | Saint Bernard | Female | unspayed | 10 years and 8 months old | 150 lbs

My dog has a huge squishy lump that started like an extra nipple then a scrotum sack now its huge and hangs a few inches off the ground. It has been known to "bust" and ooze watery substance. This time it was lots of blood. Shes an 11yr old saint bernard. She acts fine tho. Active, eats, no hair loss. and its been almost 2years. I dont havethe money 1place said 1300. 1Yr and a half ago. Do u know if its fatal? Am i being selfish? Or do u know a probono vet near 62629? Thank you so much!!!!!!!!

This lump on Bella could be a cyst. Cysts can burst and reform, and surgical removal of them does cure it. Cysts are not fatal, but it is a good idea to have it removed because it keeps growing and bursting. The area could become infected from this. If paying for a vet is an issue, you can see if your vet accepts payment plans, if there is a low cost clinic in your area, or you can apply for Care Credit online.
