Pet's info: Dog | Puli | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 6 months old

Hi our Hungarian Puli is at the vet atm.She has pancreas -or at least that's what her symptoms shows. Her blood test results came out very bad.She always had a very sensitive tummy and was hospitalised 4 times the last 6 month with diarrhoea vomiting and pain in the tummy. Last weelend she has got antibiotics in injection and after 3 days in tablet form. Her condition didn't improve -even got worst. She is with a vet atm getting infusion and meds. What's her chance to survive?

The clinical picture you described could be more complicated than just a pancreatic inflammation (pancreatitis). Pancreatitis is usually sterile and antibiotics are often not needed. To be able to give you more precise informations and advices, I would need to actually see the blood results she had done in the past plus the result of all the investigations eventually performed (radiographs, ultrasounds or anything else). Please describe what were the signs when she got sick (if not only vomiting diarrhoea and abdominal pain). Unfortunately this situation requires a long discussion; please request a consultation or keep writing on the forum. The chances of survival are related to her underlying conditions and the results of the tests performed so far.
