My dogs dewclaw area is swollen. He my have hurt jumping off the bed. It's not broken or bleeding. Just very inflamed and limps a little but not always. What to do? Pet's info: Dog | Bichon Frise | Male | neutered | 20 lbs

It looks like he might have a nail bed infection. You could soak his paw in a warm Epsom salt solution and see if that helps. Otherwise, he should be examined by a vet for treatment. He might need an antibiotic and an anti-inflammatory to treat.
