My Chihuahua mix have been vomiting yellow foam some mornings. He just vomit this morning again but I am not sure what this color is anymore as I cleaned it from the floor mat. He eats like once a day since the day I got him. He just doesnt seem to eat much and still drink water. He is still very active like usual. What can I do to prevent him from vomiting?

Vomiting could be caused by parasites, change in diet, toxin ingestion, infectious viral diseases, blockage in the intestines caused by ingestion of a foreign body, or a mass/growth in the gastrointestinal tract. Please make an appointment to have Red seen by a veterinarian for diagnosis and treatment. If no other medical concerns are found, it is possible that Red may be dealing with bilious vomiting syndrome, which can occur if dogs do not eat for prolonged periods of time. Try feeding him a small amount of good quality wet food at night and in the mornings to help prevent this.
