My 2-month-old kitten refuses dry food. Is he a picky eater?

Hi there, I have a kitten 2 months old and I recently adopted him from a shelter. I asked one of the staff what kind of food they have been feeding him and they told me dry food and wet food. So, when I came home I gave him some dry food, but unfortunately, he ate a little. When I gave him wet food he started to eat that rather than the dry food. I also tried mixing dry and wet together, but he never touched it at all. Is he just a picky eater?

Hi. Most likely, yes that could be all it is. I would try a few different brands of dry, and give each him time to really get hungry before you offer dry so that he will go to dry if he is hungry enough. Good luck.
