Why is my 8-week puppy having night diarrhea but fine all day?

My 8 week old puppy is having severe diarrhea, but only at night. Through the day, his poop is normal and he eats and drinks fine. What could be the problem?

It sounds as your pet is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.
