My cairn terrier is 7 weeks pregnant and today she started releasing a green discharge from her vagina. What does this mean? Should I be worried?

This requires an immediate check up. Green discharge could be a sign of infection of the uterus and may compromise the pregnancy. A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics may be needed. This is a concerning sign which could be compatible with a uterine infection. An immediate check up is required to confirm this clinical suspicion and treat appropriately. AN ultrasound may be needed to determine puppies' vitality. I am sorry to hear about Lacey. A greenish discharge is concerning and could indicate and infection or if Lacey is near her due date it can be meconium (a puppy's first poop) and is indicative of fetal distress. Unfortunately there isn't anything you can do at home in these situations so I would recommend continuing to try to reach your vet and bringing her in for examination once available, or if it will be hours before your vet opens, going to an emergency clinic in your area if one is available.
