Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | spayed | 12 years and 4 months old | 6 lbs
My chihuahua Cassie had been dragging her butt and it had a fishy smell,So I expressed her anal glands and only blood come out.She hesitaties about eating dog food,but will eat food from the table.She also has runny bowels and sleeping a lot.

Anal glands are possibly infected and severely inflamed. Antibiotics are likely to be needed and it is possible that pus and infection is still inside the glands. In some cases an underlying tumor of the anal glands is seen and that must be checked by your local vet.
