Withhold food for 24 hours. Allow small amounts (no more than 2-3 tablespoons every hour) of water or an electrolyte replacement fluid. Resume feeding a bland diet in small, frequent amounts. Begin with a tablespoon or two every hour and gradually increase the amount if there is no vomiting. Serve warmed or mix in a teaspoon or two of baby food to stimulate his appetite. Transition slowly to the regular diet if there is no vomiting for 24-48 hours. See your veterinarian to have Jogi examined if the vomiting does not resolve, or if he develops, lethargy, diarrhea, abdominal pain or continues to refuse food.

If she is behaving normally otherwise, try withholding food for 24 hours. Allow small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte, no more than 2-3 tablespoons every hour. Resume feeding a bland diet in small, frequent amounts. Begin with one tablespoon of food every hour and gradually increase the amount if there is no vomiting. Feed bland until there are no vomiting episodes for 48 hours then transition slowly to her regular diet. If the vomiting persists or if Izzy has or develops other symptoms (lethargy, diarrhea, anorexia, abdominal pain) then have her examined by your veterinarian.
