My Boston Terrier puppy has bumps. Allergies, rain, or Frontline?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Boston Terrier | Female | unspayed | 7 months and 24 days old | 12 lbs

My 7 month old Boston t. Has small bumps down the right side starting at front leg 2 back leg. Gave her cheap version of frontline few days ago... but my husband also accidentally Left her outside in the rain early this morning. Not sure how long she was outside since I was still asleep. Not sure if it's an allergic reaction or rain bumps. Any advise. Benadryl maybe??

This could be an allergic reaction to an insect bite/sting. You can give her half of a 25mg benedryl to see if that helps, but if the bumps do not resolve by the morning or if she starts vomiting, having diarrhea or shows any signs of difficulty breathing you will need to take her to an emergency veterinarian right away.
