My puppy threw up yesterday and now won't eat or play. What's wrong?

Yesterday my puppy threw up 3x. The 1st was bile looking. 2nd was the good he ate. 3rd time was a very very light brown with grass. He ate a little bit 1x early in the day and would barely touch his water. He has not thrown up in over 12hrs. He will not touch his food today and he sniffs his treats but won't eat them. He is drinking much more water today. Seems very calm and normally he is hyper. Help! Pet's info: Dog | Doberman Pinscher | Male | unneutered | 7 months and 8 days old | 35 lbs

Hello he may be having a little bit of residual nausea which is why he won't eat. If he's drinking water and holding it down OK, sometimes a bland diet like boiled chicken white rice can help. However if he begins vomiting again, becomes depressed or seems painful, or eats and vomits then he should be seen by his veterinarian.
