My cat is throwing up white foam and not eating. Is it serious?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | American Bobtail | Male | unneutered

My cat is not eating or drinking and has been sick but it's just white foam, he's not himself. Is there anything I can do before taking him to the vets?

Unfortunately no, if your cat is vomiting and not eating anything you must take him urgently to the vet, he will need an anti vomiting injection at the very least, he will probably need a blood test as well as antibiotics.
