My dog's eyes are cloudy and blue. Is it cataracts or something else?

We went on a vacation for 2 weeks and the dog was left alone with a friend to care for he's when we got back her eyes are cloudy with a navy blue tent I was thinking is cataracts but idk if this would cause a deep enough troma to close this I just need some help and my mom won't take her to the vet she thinks it's just me and her eyes where always like this but no. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | 5 years and 10 months old

It may be age related changes in the eyes​, cataracts or infection/inflammation. The only way to tell would be to have Cookie examined by your veterinarian or a veterinary opthalmologist. If she is rubbing or pawing at the eyes, place an e-collar (cone) on her to prevent trauma.
