My dog's eyes are cloudy and blue. Is it cataracts or something else?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | 5 years and 10 months old

We went on a vacation for 2 weeks and the dog was left alone with a friend to care for he's when we got back her eyes are cloudy with a navy blue tent I was thinking is cataracts but idk if this would cause a deep enough troma to close this I just need some help and my mom won't take her to the vet she thinks it's just me and her eyes where always like this but no

It may be age related changes in the eyes​, cataracts or infection/inflammation. The only way to tell would be to have Cookie examined by your veterinarian or a veterinary opthalmologist. If she is rubbing or pawing at the eyes, place an e-collar (cone) on her to prevent trauma.
