Stella has thrown up several times today. Nothing that looks out of the ordinary, and seems pretty normal energy wise. Her sister natty threw up the other night and is now fine. Stella does seem to have lost her appetite to a degree, but did eat a treat earlier. We are going to start her on a bland food diet. Anything else I should be looking for? At what point should we consider the vet?

Stella might have eaten something spoiled that is causing this. withhold food for 12 hours then offer her boiled boneless chicken and rice every 6 hours in small portions. if she is eating and not vomiting, continue with this diet for 2 days. After 2 days, you can put her back gradually on her normal food. If he continues vomiting (more than 2-3 times a day for at least 48 hours) or is not eating properly, take her to the vet to get treatment.

You should seek a vet check if she is unwilling to drink or unable to keep liquid down at any stage, if she refuses food for more than 36hours or develops fever, lethargy or weakness. Maintain fluid intake and offer pedialyte and fresh water. Avoid high fat treats and offer small meals of a bland, low fat diet for 72hours
