My dog has skin lumps and bumps. Is it an infection or allergy?

It looks to be a skin infection or, if the lumps are raised, some sort of allergic or inflammatory response. You would need to have Mary physically examined by your veterinarian to diagnose the exact cause. Infection can be treated with antibiotics. If it is some sort of reaction, you will need to determine the cause and decrease or eliminate it if possible.

    The bumps may be an allergic reaction or localized infection. Your veterinarian should be able to determine which after an exam. If he is itchy, your veterinarian can dispense an antihistamine. Antibiotics can be dispensed for infection.
