My dog has swollen lumps under jaw, tired. Could it be lymph nodes?

I feel two swollen discs under my dogs jaw but not in his neck.. he just doesn't seem like his bouncy 2 yr olds self. He is sleeping a lot. Could this be an infection of his lymph nodes?

Certainly, what you are feeling could be his submandibular lymph nodes. The infection may not be originating from the lymph nodes, but it could be from something else in that region, or even from a systemic problem like a tick borne disease. This could also be a sign of cancer (lymphoma), and although it would be less likely in a dog as young as Beau, I would get this checked out ASAP.

Hello....without seeing your pet or even a photo, we cannot say for sure what it is. A lump in that area of the body may be a lymph node, a salivary cyst, salivary tumor, or other types of tumors, or an abscess. It should be evaluated by your vet. A needle aspirate can help determine what it is if it is not apparent by just the physical exam. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach
