Why is my dog's eye red, painful, struggling to open, and leaking?

My dog is struggling to open her right eye and I think she is in pain with it. It is red on the inner eye (closest to the nose), it is also leaking clear fluid. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 5 years and 6 months old

It seems as Roxie is suffering from an eye infection, possibly from an eye injury (scratch), you will need to take her to the vet in order to have the eye checked and she will surely need a prescription antibiotic eye drops in order to get better.
