what do you do to cure constipation after your puppy has eaten things they weren't suppose to (I.e. Grass, stuffing from puppy pads, and the carpet etc)? He's been sleeping a lot lately and hasn't really had an appetite for his puppy pedigree dog food. Thank you.

Wow Sherlock is adorable!! If a dog has mild constipation adding a lot of moisture to the diet (feeding canned food or adding warm water to dry food) can help as can adding some fiber to their diet (teaspoon of canned pumpkin). If they have more severe cosntipation they need to see a veterinarian for treatment which can include an enema and fluids. But if a puppy that small has eaten stuffing from puppy pads and carpeting you also need to worry about some of that material getting stuck in Sherlock s stomach or intestine. If he continues having a poor appetite or if he starts vomiting I would also have him seen by your veterinarian for an x-ray.
