My dog has a long white worm in his stool. Is it a tapeworm? Treat?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 1 year and 7 months old | 40 lbs

At day care they noticed a long white worm in my dogs stool is this a tape worm? How can I treat this? He is on an Doxcycline for Lyme disease right now.

Yes your dog has a worm infection of some kind. Definitely bring a stool sample in to your vet so you can get some dewormer and figure out exactly what your pup is infected with, and make sure to clean up all the poop piles right away so he doens't reinfect himself or any other creatures.
