Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 16 years and 11 months old | 12 lbs
My 17 year old cat had a stroke and had to be put to sleep. The morning she passed, she was lying limply on her side. Her right front leg stayed in a bent position and her right pupil was huge. She couldn't stand. I am worried that I precipitated the stroke by giving her buphrenzine pain killer drops at 12:20am the morning of. She used to get the drops whenever she moaned and groaned and seemed uncomfortable which was about 3-4 x's a week due to kidney failure issues. Did I help or hurt her? :(

I am sorry to hear about your loss. Considering the description of what you did I do not think you hurt her at all, and actually you helped her a lot. It is not possible to make things worse to be honest and strokes can actually happen multiple times in few minutes time. Please do not hesitate to contact us again on the forum or by requesting a consultation if you have any more questions or to discuss it any further.
