My cat has an embedded nail and won't let me touch it. Help!

Question

My cat's nails are not coming off and she is not trying to pull them off. Can you tell me why she is not and what do I need to do, there is one that looks embedded and she will not let me near it. Pet's info: Cat | American Bobtail | Female | spayed

It sounds as she will need to have her nails clipped, in some cats there is no other solution as the nails grow too fast and too long. if she doesn't let you do it i would recommend bringing her to the vet, they can do it for you there.
