My 10-week-old kitten chews and bites. Is it teething? What to do?

My 10 week old ragdoll kitten has begun chewing and bitting a lot. Is it teething? How can I ease him? He likes a peculiar towel which he keeps chewing madly for long time and oddly.

This is quite normal behavior and I would allow him to comfort himself with the one towel as long as there are no shred which can fall off and be swallowed. Kittens will generally grow out of this behavior themselves as they settle into a new environment and mature
