Cat on antibiotics: red nose bump, breathing, diarrhea, not eating?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 2 years and 9 months old | 11 lbs

Hello my name is Benita, I'm from Germany and I have a question about my cat(male). We have visited vet few days ago and he's "drinking" antibiotics, cause he catched cold. Today I found this strange red bump inside his nose. Sometimes he has difficulty with breathing and sometimes he sneezes at least 5 times in a row. And yesterday+today he had diarrhea. Amd he's not eating very well.I hope you could take a look at it and share your opinion on it. Thank you very much, Yours sincerely, Benita

Diarrhea is common following antibiotics and generally resolves over a few days. I recommend you ask your vet to fully investigate the lump but if you would like to repost with a picture we may be able to help further
