My cat won't eat refrigerated wet food. What dry food is best?

My 3 year old male cat 12-13 lbs and healthy. I feed him wet canned food, approx. 1.5 oz 3 times a day. I also leave dry food out for him. He devours the cat food fresh from the can in the morning, but tends toward the dry food as the day goes on. He does not show much interest in the "old" canned food which may have been refrigerated for 6-10 hours. Long story not so short. What dry food do you recommend? As a general rule of thumb, I tend to recommend Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan and Royal Canin diets. These companies thoroughly analyze the nutrient profiles of their foods, perform controlled clinical studies and source their ingredients well. As for Gracie's canned foods, consider microwaving the refrigerated portions for a few seconds to see if this may tempt him to eat any "leftovers".
