My cat is secreting alot of fluid, near her anus all the fur is wet and it smells funny, its clear and my cats still active and eating and drinking well..is she in heat or could it be something serious? Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 1 month old | 4 lbs

Your cat may have a ruptured abscess near her tail. If she is an inside outside kitty, she may have gotten into a cat fight. The hair will need to be shaved off and the skin examined by your vet. If it is an abscess, he may want to flush it and prescribe antibiotics. If it is a skin infection caused by bacteria or a fungus , then she will need antibiotics or a fungicidal medication, respectively. Please take Mogli to a vet for an exam.
