My puppy ate cat food and is vomiting and has diarrhea. What should I do?

My 10 week old husky puppy ate cat food and she vomited the cat food, had alot of pop, puking foam saliva and now she has water diarrhea.

Oh no, poor Akira! It sounds like eating this cat food has really upset her stomach. If she has stopped vomiting and only has diarrhea, you can try a home remedy to see if that helps. Withhold food for 8-12 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the diarrhea continues on the bland diet, she starts vomiting food again, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away.
