My puppy is about 6 months old and one of his pupils was dilated then after a few mins went back to normal? Is this something I should be worried about?

Because this was a transient dilation of the pupil, I would not be concerned about it. Continue to monitor the eyes for any continued dilation's and if they are continuous for several hours then that can indicate some brain trauma, inflammation or underlying neurological condition. At that point he should be examined by your veterinarian for testing to determine the underlying cause. But hopefully this is just one of those incidental findings and everything will go back to normal from here on out.
