Can hay get behind the eye ball of a guinea pig.

This would be very unlikely and you would see an injury or bleeding. However there is always a possibility of a guinea pig getting a retrobulbar abscess , ie an abscess behind the eyeball. This would likely be caused by an infected cheek tooth (molar). If you suspect an abscess or swelling behind your guinea pigs's eye, you will need to take him to a veterinarian for an exam.
