My dog is squinting and closing his eyes. Is it an emergency?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | 2 years and 5 months old | 45 lbs

What do you think how will i treat our dog that tend to close his eyes and shrink hie eyelids but still can see? Is this an emergency or still need to observe him more?

Squinting of the eyes is normally associated with eye or facial pain, a common cause of which is inturned or stray eye lashes which contact and scratch the surface of they eye. Given this is a painful condition I would recommend you get him checked as soon as possible. Flushing the eyes with sterile saline eye wash 3-4times a day can provide some temporary relief until you can get him checked out
