My dog has diarrhea, won't eat, shaking, and seems sick. What's wrong?

My dog didn't eat last night and i woke up and he had had the runs he also is shaking like made and isn't as playful as usual PLEASE HELP. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | 7 years and 3 months old

Poor Digby! It certainly sounds as though he isn't feeling well. Diarrhea and lethargy can have a wide variety of underlying causes, including viruses, parasites, organ dysfunction, and endocrine diseases. Try offering him a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken and white rice for a few days. If he still won't eat the bland diet, Digby should see a vet for an exam and may need some lab tests to get to the bottom of his problem. I hope that he's feeling better soon!
