Cat giving birth: dark red tissue showing, is it an emergency?

A recently adopted barn cat is giving birth, its had 4 healthy kittens and we can feel one still inside of her, about 20minutes ago a dark red bubble started sticking out of her vagina with no kitten first, it looks much darker red than the plecenta

Keep watching her, but do not disturb her. If she does not produce another kitten in about an hour and the red bubble is still there and looks thick, like fleshy tissue, you need to take her and her babies to the vet as she may have a uterine prolapse, which can cause her to die, if it is not reduced.
