I cant really see if my dog is pregnant. Its been 6 weeks alreadt. She looks a bit bigger and lyes down more. Pet's info: Dog | Boerboel | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 9 months old | 60 lbs

Gestation time in dogs is usually around 63 to 65 days, in exceptional cases up to 68 days. If your dog is pregnant for 6 weeks, that would be around 45 or 46 days. Up to now the puppies basically developed into little dogs, and now they will gain lots of weight and grow. You will see her nipples grow in preparation for whelping. In about a week you can take her to a veterinarian for an x-ray, so you will know how many puppies she will have.
