Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | neutered | 1 year and 1 month old | 33 lbs
my 1 year old dog is house trained for the most part, he has accidents if I dont take him out in time(I never get onto him if this is the case) but lately he's been pooping inside randomly & not in a consistent place. I woke up the other morning & he left a nugget in the bed & had no idea about it. My roomate has a female cat, which she refuses to get fixed, who has been spraying and constantly in heat and pooping outside her box. I use marking remover when I clean but what could cause this?

It could be a behavioral issue or there could be a medical reason, especially if the stool is abnormal. You could have your vet test a stool sample for intestinal parasites. It would also be a good idea to convince your roommate to have her cat spayed since she is spraying in the house and constantly in heat as this could be contributing to your dogs problem. You could also try an Adaptil collar and see if that helps relieve any stress and anxiety that may be causing him to eliminate inappropriately.
