My kitten has diarrhea & worms. Can I catch them before deworming?

I have an 8 week old kitten and I adore her. Just today, she had diarrhea and it smelled very foul, it was on my bed, carpet, just a complete mess. She is a scooter i know she has worms. We're getting her dewormed on Saturday and also vaccinated. I'm very paranoid about getting contaminated with her worms, a gut instinct is telling me it's roundworm. Should I be this concerned? Will she be okay until Sat.? Also, she does indeed sleep with me, she climbs up on my bed as i'm sleeping, what do I do

Oh no, poor Newt! Yes you can get roundworms from her, but also long as you wash your hands thoroughly after every time you touch her, clean up her diarrhea completely, and wash your hands after you clean up, you should be fine :-)
