My dog has bloody diarrhea and vomiting for 18 hours. Vet call?

My dog has diarrhea and sickness. He has been poorly for 18 hours. We have starved him since teatime last night. He is wretching as there is nothing in his stomach and his foeces has mucusy blood in it? Do I need to speak to a vet? Pet's info: Dog | Bedlington Terrier | Male | unneutered | 11 months old

I'm afraid yes, at this point it has been long enough for it to just resolve itself without treatment, he needs to be seen by a vet and will probably need medications at the very least in order to get better.
