Pet's info: Dog | Bulldog | Female | unspayed | 53 lbs
I have found a lump on my 4 year old bulldog bitch. She is in season at the moment. It is located on her underside near her private parts. She does not react at all when I touched it & it is not bothering her at all. It is pinkish in colour & looks similar to a teat but is completely round. It is about the size of a marble. Do you know what this could be?

Hello. Lumps and bumps can be any number of things including cysts, lipomas, histiocytomas, and tumors of various sizes/shapes/types. If it is involving her muco-cutaneous junction (at the edge of her vulva or her anus) this is more concerning. I would recommend getting it checked by a vet. They will put a needle into it and take a sample, and look at the cells under a microscope. This may give them the answer, or they may need to take a bigger sample. It could also just be a wart or a skin tag. Without seeing it, and ultimately testing the cells, you can't know for sure, I would get it checked by a vet. Good luck with Toots.
