Is my newborn kitten safe from fleas if my adult cat has them?

so I am taking home a 1 day old kitten and I am prepared to do everything and I have done research about how to take care of it but I already have a 1 year old cat and he has fleas and I have the advantage II flea medication and I am going to give it to him but I was wondering if I do all the proper things for the newborn like feed it and keep it in its own space away from the other cat will it be okay

He should be fine, but you can't guaranty he won't get fleas. keep an eye on him, it's usually easy to spot fleas on newborns. from the age of 2 days Frontline spray can be used for fleas in case you find any.

    You can get Frontline spray to use on Sterling. It's safe for kittens as young as two days of age. Then take him into the vet for a health check. The vet can determine his age, and can discuss flea treatment programs for him. Best of luck.
