I am assuming that the person is infected with Hepatitis C which is a human virus. It is not typically transmitted to cats so your cat should be fine. If you have any questions or concerns than you should contact your veterinarian and have your cat examined.

Human viruses can't be transmitted to cats, however be careful when needing to give a medicine to animal to always draw it with the needle and then dispose safely of it and give the medicine without the needle, unless professionally trained to do so as it can be dangerous for everyone involved.
